The other day in my ‘New Media Development’ class, we tested out the laser printer. Our product was a wooden drink coaster and we wanted to print an elaborate logo onto the top. Our instructor demonstrated how to properly set up and print the logo.

It’s important, as a designer, to understand and anticipate that our designs can end up on a multitude of different mediums. This understanding can help when planning and researching for future designs.
