Over the summer, my father started his own communication consulting business. He asked me if I would design him a logo to be printed for merch. His business is called ‘Forged911’. My dad, Bjorn, wanted a logo that consisted of a Viking or blacksmithing theme, had a small nod to family, and wanted the color blue.

I had sketched up a few designs and this was the final logo he wanted me to design in Illustrator.

This design is a simplified outline of an anvil and the lines creating the body of the anvil create two number fives. He has five children. The color is a light blue to represent calm and security. I recently ordered hats with the logo on them so stay tuned to see how they turned out.
