Top 3s are so boring. I love framing questions by asking “What’s your Mt Rushmore of *blank*?” , this could be about your favorite singers, football teams, or national parks you want to visit. I posed this question as my blog topic today, who would be my Mt Rushmore of creative people or designers I admire.
My first would be Wes Anderson, the famous American filmmaker. I absolutely love his aesthetic. His color palettes and unique cinematography create a visual that anyone would recognize as his.
I would then follow up with Neville Brody. He is a British designer and a pro at typography. He incorporates typography into his designs in a way that the words don’t just convey a message but also convey emotion. He specializes in bold, edgy fonts and arrangements.
Following him up would be Brandon Shepherd. He is a content creator and designer. He creates YouTube videos on product packaging and the designs are very inspirational.
The final spot would be Claude Monet. He painted nature as he perceived it. Many say he inspired modernism in art. I personally love his use of color and artistic style.
